Early Fall Night Out

Hello beautiful! Happy Sunday!

Last night we celebrated Josh’s birthday with some of our friends. Josh got to choose dinner, so we went to the best bbq restaurant in Kansas City, Q39! Seriously, the place was so busy that the only open reservation was at 4pm.

I was brave enough to wear white pants to a bbq restaurant. I layered 2 napkins on my lap for good measure, and we made it out alive! Afterwards we played a bunch of games and spent the evening with friends!

I am loving this pink color as a fall-transitional color. BONUS: it looks great on every single color! The rosey hues make it perfect to match my favorite rose cold Fossil watch and rose gold wedding ring.

I scored this top and handbag at a local used clothing store – like old-school, in-person Poshmark! Who knew those existed still? If you’re new to fashion, like me, I highly suggest checking out a place like this – it’s an easy way to get those name brand items without paying the full name brand price. I went in to sell some of me and Josh’s old clothes, made $72, then spent $40 of it there…… hate when that happens.

This summer, I was looooooving the circle purse trend, so when I found this crossbody by Miztique, I knew it was a must have! It’s perfect for a night out when you don’t need to carry a lot of things. I sent out some feelers on my Instagram stories for color ideas, and cream/neutral won! Sooo much easier to style than a bright colored handbag (but those are still super fun!).

After dinner, Josh treated me to Starbucks… okay, really I treated him because I wanted the bonus stars!  I tried out this pumpkin spice chai that you’re all talking about. It’s amazing!! Definitely like it more than the regular PSL! Half the chai, sub it for pumpkin!
