OTK Boots & Scarves (feat. Ricky)

Somehow I managed to get 3 of my favorite things into one photo:

1) Over-the-knee boots
2) Scarves
3) My cat, Ricky

Over-the-knee boots are a MAJOR FALL TREND you need to get in to. They can be worn with jeans, leggings, shorts, rompers, or dresses. I am totally loving them with long sleeve mini dresses and looking for the perfect one to share with you!

These Rialto boots are super cute, comfy, and don’t slide down at all. They’re currently on sale for $40 on the Rialto website and in stock in all of the popular sizes! They also come in red and black.

Another trend I am loving this fall: PONCHO SCARVES.

I created my own poncho scarf with my H&M scarf above by draping it over my shoulders. This trendy look could be topped off with a belt around the waist or worn as is. Scarves are one of my favorite accessories because they’re so versatile, so I’m loving that the poncho look is in this fall.

A little back story on this scarf:

I went to H&M this last Saturday in search of black jeans.
Spoiler: I didn’t end up getting black jeans (so if you have any good recommendations, hmo). BUT I did see this huge selection of scarves on clearance! I’m normally not one to pass up a good scarf, but since I went in for black jeans, I left without the scarves.

*cue nightmare*

You know the one I’m talking about. The one where you go into the store and actually buy the scarf then wake up and realize you didn’t and feel instant regret.

The next day was Sunday and I was meeting a friend at Olive Garden for dinner, which is right in the same area as H&M. I left my house a little early to pop in and get that scarf I had been regretting not buying.

IT WAS 6:03PM AND H&M CLOSED AT 6.
“Maybe it’s a sign I don’t need it.”
Only I did.

The next day, hubby wanted Chick-Fil-A for dinner, which is right next door to Olive Garden. Thus, right there by H&M. We had a big tax filing deadline on Monday, so I was already running late to get home. Didn’t stop at H&M. Regretted it.

Tuesday I took the day off work, went to H&M, bought 3 scarves, lived happily ever after.

Moral of the story: H&M has scarves on clearance. Chick-Fil-A is still good.
