How to Dress Up Your Apple Watch

A few weeks ago, Josh surprised me and let me get myself an Apple Watch! I was so excited because I have wanted one for awhile to encourage myself to get back into shape and to get my daily steps in.

I recently started working for a really big company. My walk from my car to my desk is approximately 1,000 steps…not kidding! So I wanted to really track how I was spending the rest of my day and motivate myself to get up and take more water and bathroom breaks. And it has totally helped!! I could go on and on about how much I like my Apple Watch, but I’ll save that for another day!

When I first started looking into these watches, one thing I didn’t necessarily care for was how big and bulky they are. They don’t necessarily scream “business casual” so I knew I needed to find a way to dress mine up.

QUICK SHOP THE POST:

I purchased the rose gold version of the watch because my wedding ring is rose gold. If you’re engaged or married, I would highly recommend matching the watch to your ring! I used to have a yellow gold Fitbit and I found myself never wearing it because I felt like it clashed.

I absolutely love the light pink band that comes with the rose gold Apple Watch (If you didn’t get rose gold but want the pink band, you can buy one here). If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know I love pink! So I wear this band any day that I’m just lounging around.

However, I like to be a little more dressed up at work, and sometimes I feel like the silicone pink band doesn’t cut it (although some days if I’m wearing pink I’ll still go for it!).

After lots of searching, I bought 2 new watch bands and 3 new bracelets!

You know I can’t get enough leopard (I remind y’all in every post), so of course I bought a leopard watch band! Even though this band is also silicone, I feel like it looks dressier on my wrist. It is thinner on my wrist and the color of it really blends in with the rose gold.

Then I found some simple rose gold bracelets to match it at Macy’s! All of these bracelets come in rose gold, yellow gold, and silver! The bracelet closest to my hand is by Guess (currently 40% off!!) and it has a slider in the back instead of a clasp. At first I thought I would be really annoyed by the dangling bracelet but I actually don’t notice it!

The other two bracelets are a set by Charter Club and are also currently 40% off! I can’t believe these bracelets are different brands, because they totally look like they were made to be paired together!

If you’re wanting even more dressy of a look, Amazon has TONS of options for you! I bought a delicate and chic band with 3 thin strands of metal (pictured above and linked here) on Amazon for under $30! It is perfect for work, church, or any other dressy occasion.

In short, dressing up your Apple Watch may not actually be as difficult as you’d think! Simply replace your band with a shiny one and jazz up your wrist with more bracelets!
