I’ve been seeing this Free People puffer vest everywhere and of course I fell in love with it. It’s been awhile since I’ve done a good ‘Free People vs Amazon’ find… so I found the BEST vest alternative on Amazon! In fact, I actually like the Amazon version BETTER – it’s thicker, warmer, more structured, and honestly, it FEELS like it should be more expensive than the FP one!

This one runs verrrrry big and oversized. I’m a true small and am wearing an XS here and it even fits over my 7-month baby bump. Definitely size down in Free People, at least one size. This is the color ‘greyed olive’.
Amazon Vest

On the contrary, the Amazon vest runs a tiny bit smaller than I’d like. I sized UP one to a medium here. It is still slightly smaller than the FP XS lol. So go true to size if you like it more fitted or up if you want it oversized. This is the color “khaki”.
The Comparison
I actually like the Amazon vest BETTER in every way! It is an overall thicker material. Honestly if I closed my eyes and didn’t know which was which, I’d think the Amazon vest was the more expensive one. I also like how it fits in the underarms better and I like the more structured collar!
